La Linea Verde’s heart lies in Manerbio, near Milan, Italy, where the Battagliola brothers grew up and initiated their entrepreneurial endeavours, following in their family’s footsteps. Over the years, however, the company has grown, and now boasts four production facilities in Italy (two in Lombardy, one in Sardinia and one in the region of Campania), as well as two farms and a refrigerated transport company. The company’s total production area, in fact, has now reached a total of 65 thousand square metres.
In Italy, La Linea Verde produces and markets fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, fresh ready meals and fresh beverages for the domestic market, as well as abroad.
At the Piana del Sele facility, in Southern Italy, the agricultural company Ortomad produces and markets fresh-cut salads for the domestic market year round as well as loose vegetable destined for the foreign markets.
